Legal window tint percentages for private vehicles in Queensland
Front side windows: Minimum of 35% VLT
Rear side windows: Minimum of 20% VLT
Rear windscreen: Minimum of 20% VLT
Front windscreen: Only the top 10% of the windscreen can be tinted, and it must not interfere with wipers or the driver's vision. Full window tint application to the front windscreen is illegal.
